TEK Moves Operations to New Facility in Brantford
05/15/2010 –Teksign is excited to announce that is has purchased a new facility to house its manufacturing and administrative operations in Brantford, Ontario. The new facility is near turnkey with only administrative office and some minor factory modifications required to commence operations. The 35’ high clear factory facilities include a certified down draft large format paint booth, 20 tonne traveling cranes for large sign handling as well as 12 station swing cranes to maintain efficient flow of product through each stage of production. Access for shipping and receiving is by way of multiple dock level and drive in doors. Production has commenced in the facility with a full relocation of the companies production and administrative operations expected by the end of July.
Husky Energy Teams with TEK to convert 98 Retail Stations

1/03/2010 – Calgary based Husky Energy has awarded Teksign the contract to convert signage from its newly acquired Ontario retail petroleum stations. The 98 properties will be re-branded as “Husky” with brand new L.E.D. illuminated pylon, fascia and canopy signs. Teksign will perform the complete re-imaging of all signage including the “de-branding” (removal of all existing previous brand signage and or colour treatments on the canopy, pylon, carwash and c-stores.)
Imperial Oil Renews Contract with Tek

18/11/2009 – As the result of a long term relationship and proven performance Teksign was pleased to receive an extended contract with Imperial Oil (Esso) to continue providing signage for the new and re-branded station locations throughout Canada. Tek’s Project Management department’s ability to provide and manage Imperial Oil’s requirements in a timely and professional manner helped to ensure Esso’s continued confidence to manage multiple locations and projects at the same time. Teksign takes great pride in this long term commitment.
TEK Provides National Solutions for Mercedes Benz

04/02/2009 – Teksign has entered into a supply partnership with Mercedes Benz Canada to provide new and updated signage requirements for their existing and expanding dealership network. Drawing on Tek’s advanced knowledge in moulded acrylic products, Tek will provide new LED illuminated aluminum channel letters and LED illuminated pylon signs for new and existing dealerships incorporating the new brand image. Unique moulded double faced rotating logos ranging from 8’ – 10’ radius are custom manufactured for each dealership as required.
Leon’s new Flagship Store awarded to TEK

02/25/09 – Teksign, supplying signage to Leon’s for over three decades was awarded the contract to supply custom fabricated halo illuminated stainless steel letters for the new Leon’s flagship store in the refurbished Roundhouse building on the Toronto waterfront. The project is a high profile - high visibility area close to the Rogers Centre and the CN Tower. Multiple disciplines were required to complete this project from architects, engineers, and heritage consultants, to designers, custom fabricators and high level installers.
TEK Welcomes Midas Canada

11/15/2007 – Teksign is pleased to announce Midas Canada has awarded Tek the Midas National “Project Beacon” re-branding program and is scheduled to launch in the spring of 2008. The new store image consists of a blend of interior POP signs including menu panels, digitally produced P.O.P and exterior upgrades to include new signs and logos. Tek’s nationwide network of installers will provide accurate site surveys for signs to be manufactured to an agreed standard to obtain maximum production quality and use of materials.
TEK Expands Petroleum Industry Portfolio with Suncor

12/20/2006 – Suncor has selected Teksign to provide signage components for it’s Sunoco brand of gas stations, Teksign has expanded it’s portfolio of petroleum companies which also includes Imperial Oil and Pioneer. One of Tek’s areas of expertise is the supply of a full range of illuminated fascia signs for gas pump canopies and free standing illuminated pylons. Our ability to manufacture moulded acrylic faces is a perfect fit with the requirements of the Sunoco pylons which include custom shaped heads with moulded faces.
ProgramWorks Launched by TEK

08/06/2006 – After months of development, Teksign has launched its custom tracking program ProgramWorks.
As the name suggests it is a web based application for clients with sign Programs who wish to track a sign the ‘Work’ as it progresses through the Teksign system. Real time updates provide the customer with surveys, photos, key documents such as permits, drawings and status of each location in their inventory. This may also include before and after photos of each site upon completion of the installation.
Hilton Brands Canada Grants License to TEK to Provide Sign Solutions

07/16/2006 – Teksign is pleased to announce a license agreement has been approved with Hilton Brands USA to supply sign requirements for Hilton Brand Hotels in Canada. The Hilton brand carries such recognizable names as Hampton Inn & Suites, Embassy Suites, Double Tree, Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inn. As most hotels are owned by franchisees, Tek’s Sales Department liaises directly with the individual owners to maintain consistency of Hilton’s brand and make recommendations for each site’s needs. Proposals are then forwarded to head office for final approval.
TEK Lands National Kubota Contract for Re-branding

12/06/2005 – Teksign has partnered with Kubota Canada to redesign and provide new custom signage for their national dealer network. The project included a complete rework of the brand and included Project Management for all aspects of surveying and installation. Tek developed an electronic marketing and product order form to distribute to individual dealers and surveys were completed by Tek’s nation wide network of installers.
